House President Yiannakis Omirou is on a two-day visit to Luxembourg, where on Thursday he will meet the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies and the President of the European Court of Auditors.
In the morning the House Speaker is going to deliver a speech before the European Court of Auditors at an extraordinary session. Early in the afternoon Omirou will meet the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Laurent Mosar and the Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker.
In the evening he will attend a formal dinner hosted by the President of the European Court of Auditors Vitor Caldeira.
The House Speaker will also meet Jacques Poos, former Minister and Member of the European Parliament, who has served as rapporteur for Cyprus’ accession into the EU in 2004.
