A service will be held for the first time in 55 years on Sunday at the Church of Saint George (Exorinos) in the mediaeval walled city of Famagusta in the Turkish-held north.
The service is being jointly organised by the Turkish Cypriot Famagusta Initiative Group in cooperation with the Greek Cypriot “Famagusta, our town” group.
The last service held at the church was in 1958.
Participation and requests for transport arrangements should be submitted by Friday, December 6.
