 Temperatures will drop, with colder weather expected today and a further plunge due on Wednesday.
With the cold snap will come snow. Troodos is expected to be covered in white, while Thursday may see snow fall in hilly areas.
Heavy rain and in some cases storms are also expected in the coming week.
According to the Met Office, the weather today will be cloudy with temperatures at 14 degrees inland, 15 on the coast and 3 degrees in the mountains. Tomorrow will be cloudy at intervals with local rain, and light snow expected high up in the Troodos mountains. Temperatures will be slightly higher than Monday.
Wednesday's weather will be unstable, with local rain, isolated storms, strong winds and snow in the mountains, possibly also in semi-mountainous areas. Temperatures will fall.
On Thursday the weather will be cloudy with local, light rain and light snow in mountainous and hilly areas.
