Health Ministry officials have confirmed two cases of the H1N1 virus also known as swine flu, which had originally appeared as a pandemic in 2009 before mutating into a seasonal influenza virus.
The two patients are being treated at private hospitals and the ministry’s services have assured the public that there is no reason for concern, as both incidents involve a seasonal flu virus which is also circulating in the rest of Europe.
Health services are monitoring the situation closely.
