NICOSIA - Tourism revenue was down by 5.8% in November 2013 compared to the corresponding period last year, according to data released by the Cyprus Statistical Service.
Based on the results of the Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism reached €59.2 million in November 2013 compared to €62.8 million for November 2012.
Arrivals in November 2013 totalled 81,542 compared to 84,020 in November of the previous year.
The average stay of visitors was up in November 2013 at 10.3 days compared to 9.4 last year.
The average expenditure per head for November 2013 was recorded at €725.5 and at 70.2 per diem compared to €747.8 and €79.9 in November 2012.
