Speaking to the media, Fotiou said the ‘Onisiou Gedeon drill took place between Vasiliko in Limassol and Paphos airport as part of ongoing efforts to improve security in Cyprus’ Flight Information Region.
“I would like to thank my Israeli counterpart and the personnel from the ministries of both countries which took part in this exercise.”
The minister noted that Cyprus and Israel are entering a new phase of cooperation which started several months ago.
