NICOSIA - Taxi drivers on Thursday warned they would go on indefinite strike and are threatening to block access to the airports in protest over the increase in cost of professional taxi licences.
Cabbies are understood to object to the recent increase in the cost of licences as well as increases in the cost of road tax and fuel.
Drivers are threatening to strike unless the authorities listen to their demands before March 10.
