A farmer from Paphos was killed this morning after being crushed by his tractor when it tipped over into a ditch. According to police, Charalambos Themistocleous, 47 from Stato Ayios Fotios village, was last seen on his way to his field yesterday morning but family members became concerned when they didn’t hear from him at around midday. He was later found under the tractor that had reportedly overturned into a ditch close to the Katapani area, just shy of the village of Letympou. Police in Stroumbi are still investigating the exact cause of the crash. An ambulance rushed Themistocleous to Paphos General Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
