NICOSIA - The weather will be unsettled over the next few days, with a marked deterioration expected over the weekend and the Met Office forecasting snow on the Troodos Mountains on Monday.
Temperatures are expected to fluctuate, rising on Saturday but dropping on Monday.
On Friday, the weather will be partly cloudy with isolated light showers in the afternoon. Temperatures will climb to 20 degrees C inland and on the coast and 14 degrees at higher altitudes.
Saturday the weather will be initially partly cloudy with possible isolated rain but will gradually clear. Temperatures will rise.
On Sunday the weather will become gradually cloudy with local rain and isolated storms, primarily in the afternoon.
On Monday, the weather will be cloudy at intervals with local rain and isolated storms. Snow is expected to fall in the higher reaches of the Troodos Mountains, particularly in the evening. There will be a noticeable drop in temperature over the two days.
