LIMASSOL- The Geological Survey Department Wednesday morning reported that a small earthquake had taken place off the coast of Limassol at 8.55am.
Measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale, the quake’s epicentre was 20km south of Akrotiri and at a depth of 5km, the department’s announcement said.
It added that the tremor was felt by some residents of Limassol and that its Seismology Centre was keeping an eye on the situation.
