Nicosia residents flying out of Cyprus will now be able to get to Paphos Airport for just €15 by using the new route that will connect the two towns created by Kapnos Airport Shuttle.
Kapnos is also the same company offering a similar route from Nicosia to Larnaca Airport since 2008.
The cost for the Nicosia-Paphos Airport route is €15 per person, however, it can be reduced to €8 per person for groups of more than eight people.
Speaking at a press conference yesterday, company Director Pambos Kapnos said that the Kapnos Paphos Airport route aims to provide a service for passengers who want to travel from Paphos Airport making use of the cheap fares offered by Ryanair, Aegean, British Airways, Wizz Air and easyJet.
He added that at Paphos Airport there will also be a Kapnos office to offer a more efficient service for passengers.
"In some cases, this route might make a stop in Limassol and the route will be in collaboration with another company in Limassol," said Kapnos.
He said that the service to connect Nicosia to the airport is the company's own private initiative and is not sponsored by any financial carriers or supported by the state.
Kapnos said that there are also plans to connect Larnaca with Paphos Airport in the future.
