Cyprus may not be taking part in this year's Eurovision Song Contest but local fans of the popular competition will still be able to enjoy watching it on television.
The Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) has announced the contest's first and second semi-final rounds as well as the grand final will be transmitted live from Copenhagen on CyBC-1 from 10pm on May 6, 8 and 10 respectively.
Because Cyprus is not participating, however, viewers in Cyprus will not be able to vote for their favourite song.
Participating in the first semi-final on May 6 are Armenia, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Iceland, Albania, Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Belgium, Moldova, San Marino, Portugal, The Netherlands, Montenegro and Hungary.
The second semi-final on May 8 will include Malta, Israel, Norway, Georgia, Poland, Austria, Lithuania, Finland, Ireland, Belarus, FYROM, Switzerland, Greece--represented by Freaky Fortune feat. RiskyKidd performing 'Rise Up'-- Slovenia and Romania.
Along with the 10 successful contestants from each of the semi-finals, host country Denmark, Germany, the UK, France, Spain and Italy will be taking part in the 26-country grand final on May 10.
