Ryanair yesterday unveiled its Paphos 2014 winter schedule with a total of eight routes, including Brussels Charleroi, London Stansted and Rome.
These are estimated to carry over 550,000 customers per year and support over 850 on-site jobs at Paphos.
Airports Council International (ACI) research confirms up to 1,000 ‘on-site’ jobs are sustained at international airports for every one million passengers. “Consumers and visitors to Cyprus already choose Ryanair for the lowest fares, great route choice and our industry leading customer service,” said Ryanair’s Maria Macken.
“Now they can also book their flights on our much improved website and enjoy a free small second carry-on bag, “quiet flights”, allocated seats and use their personal electronic devices at all stages of their flight.”
She added that this makes Ryanair the ideal choice for families and friends, with a new smartphone app, and family and business products coming soon, as Ryanair continues to deliver so much more than just the lowest fares.
Ryanair announced it would celebrate its Paphos winter schedule by releasing 100,000 seats for sale across its European network, at prices starting from €24.56 (£19.99) for travel in June, July and August. These low fare seats are available for booking until midnight tomorrow (www.ryanair.com).
