NICOSIA - The island's foreign ministry issued on Thursday a travel advice for Libya based on security reasons.
“Citizens of the Republic of Cyprus who are permanent residents or working or intend to travel to Libya are advised against any travel to the country, as the security situation continues to deteriorate,” an official announcement said.
“All Cypriot citizens who reside in the country are advised to limit their movement, inform the Cypriot competent Authorities on their current status and monitor news reports both international and local for developments,” it added.
